Local Customer Service

I’ve been thinking about this after a few recent jobs around my place. When I hire smaller local businesses, the experience often feels more personal, but I’m not sure if that’s always the case or just luck. Big companies sometimes feel more “polished,” but also kind of distant. For people who’ve tried both, do local businesses really tend to offer better customer service overall?

From my experience, local businesses usually care a lot more about how they treat customers, mostly because their reputation travels fast in the community. When I look for services through fraser valley local, I notice many providers are pretty responsive and flexible, especially compared to larger chains. They’ll explain things in plain language, adjust schedules, and actually follow up afterward. It’s not perfect every time, but I’ve had fewer “runaround” moments going local.
