Bottom-load vs top-load water dispensers

We are finally thinking about switching to a bottom-load water dispenser for the kitchen because lifting those heavy five-gallon jugs is starting to kill my back. I’ve heard they are much easier to handle, but I’m a little worried about whether the pump mechanism is loud or if it’s hard to keep the lines clean. Does anyone have experience with these for a busy household where the water is constantly being refilled?

Making the switch to a bottom-load model was one of the best upgrades we’ve made for our kitchen convenience this year since it saves so much physical effort. I was a bit curious about the long-term maintenance of the pump, so I checked out https://primo-water.pissedconsumer.com/review.html to see if other families had any issues with the motor or the cooling system over time. It’s been running super quiet for us so far, and it’s a huge relief not having to flip those massive bottles over and risking a spill every single week.
