About the event

Science After Hours is a public scientific lecture series, offering a deep dive into some of the science behind your favourite franchises, and then teaching you some of the real life science that may be equivalent to it.    Hosted inside the wonderful Blue Lamp, sit back, relax, enjoy a drink or two, and broaden your mind in this 2 hour science lesson, but a lesson like you have never had before. The event is free to enter, welcome to all      aged 14 and over, and there will be a possibility to give donations to hopefully make Science After Hours return! In this edition, we will be looking at some of the science behind the healthcare available in the Star Wars galaxy, from the mystical powers of Force Healing, to robotic limbs and bodies, and the mysterious healing fluid that is Bacta.
