It features both Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín (Multiple All Ireland Titles) & Amy Laurenson (BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2023) Their debut EP was awarded ‘Album of the Week’ on RTÉ Radio. Éadaoin and Amy have collaborated in creating newly composed music, a fusion of folk and traditional with the Irish and Shetland influence weaving its way through the intricate sounds leaving the listener spellbound.

Hailing from the Scottish Borders, Eryn Rae has been playing the fiddle from the age of 7 under the tuition of renowned Shetland fiddler, Catriona Macdonald. Now based in Glasgow, she recently won the title of ‘BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2022’. Combining influences from all over Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton, and Scandinavia to name a few, Eryn’s style is energetic and distinctive, hinting to elements from each tradition. Eryn will be joined by piano extraordinaire Michael Biggins, another winner of the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Award. Michael is a multifaceted instrumentalist who can be seen playing in bands including TRIP, The Canny Band, The Ross Couper Band and Tom McConville.
