Joe Hearty is a singer-songwriter and producer from the north-east of Scotland who lives between London and Athens.

Growing up in Aberdeenshire, and immersing himself in the wider Scottish DIY and indie community in the 00s, Joe spent his formative years as the frontman of skewed indie upstarts Copy Haho, touring extensively throughout the UK and Europe with bands like Hot Club De Paris, Dananananaykroyd and Los Campesinos!

After a considerable hiatus, Joe began writing and recording again at the beginning of 2023. On September 6th, a 7-track EP titled ‘Antenna’ will be self-released digitally. Recorded between London, Liverpool & Athens, Antenna explores the queer body’s role in subverting social norms and traditions; traversing themes of promiscuity, escapism, gender and dependence.
