Eileen Hunter returns to her home town with an ‘all Aberdeen’ band and her tribute to the iconic jazz singer and pianist Blossom Dearie. She will be singing a wonderful collection of stunning original works and standards from the Dearie songbook.

About the event
Eileen Hunter returns to her home town with an ‘all Aberdeen’ band and her tribute to the iconic jazz singer and pianist Blossom Dearie. She will be singing a wonderful collection of stunning original works and standards from the Dearie songbook. Having been based in London as a jazz singer and pianist since 2000, Eileen enjoyed two decades of performing around the UK and in some of London’s famous jazz clubs (606 Club, Elgar Room, Pizza Express Dean St), concert halls and theatres (The Royal Albert Hall, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Savoy Theatre, Queen Elizabeth Hall). Her debut album was launched at Ronnie Scott’s and was released by Jazz fm’s record label ‘Clifford Street Records’ and she has appeared at various festivals over the years including the Aberdeen Jazz Festival and The EFG London Jazz festival.
