About the event
The stunning 10-piece Ando Glaso Collective brings together master musicians from Scotland’s Romanian, Polish, Slovak, Czech and Hungarian Roma communities. The group plays exquisite and authentic Gypsy/Roma music, incorporating each participant's own musical heritage into the mix to create a contemporary yet rooted sound. Join us for a cultural experience that you won't forget. There will be dancing and joy in abundance.
Founded in 2019, the group has performed acclaimed shows including at Celtic Connections, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Perth Concert Hall and Theatre, and were Glasgow Life’s Artists in Residence for Southside Central in 2021.
