James Lindsay’s latest solo release Torus takes a kaleidoscopic look at contemporary instrumental Scottish Folk; the tunes are by times intense and expansive, darkly atmospheric and up-lifting. James brings together a group of some of the most in-demand,cross-genre musicians from across Scotland’s musical spectrum to perform the music of Torus In front of a live audience. Featuring members of Rura, Peatbog Faeries, Staran and Mezcla; John Lowrie (Keyboards), Ben MacDonald (Guitar), Scott Mackay (Drums), Megan Henderson (Fiddle) and Paul Towndrow (Saxophone).
