Highland singer-songwriter Steven Barclay launched ‘The Chosen Lonely’ in late 2017 with a handful of local shows in Inverness. His debut EP eventually arrived in 2020 to widespread acclaim, including from BBC Radio Nan Gàidheal whose New Music show Rapal coined it their Record of the Week in February of 2020. This followed soon after busy shows in King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow & Ironworks, Inverness.
During the lulls that live music experienced during the remainder of the year (and parts of the next two) TCL released a second EP, and further praise ensued - this time from the likes of The Scottish Sun, and he was also named ‘Artist of the Week’ in The Scotsman.
Now based in Glasgow, and set to embark on his largest tour so far, he will visit venues across mainland UK performing acoustic arrangements both from his current catalogue and from future releases, set to arrive during 2023.
