Yes, all you guys who remember the Granite City in the late 60’s. At the time of the British Blues Boom, Aberdeen had its very own Blues band contenders - Albert Fish. They came to prominence around 1967 and played regularly and very successfully around the city and county for a couple of years.

Three of the original band augmented by a number of local musicians will be back at the Lamp to play a set of numbers from the band’s glory days. All the proceeds for this event will be going to CLAN, an Aberdeen based Cancer charity.

If you can remember the 60’s, you need to be at the gig on Sat 24th August. You never know what faces from the past you might see there! Albert Fish will be supported by the State Blues Band from Glasgow who also include 2 contemporary Aberdeen members in their lineup.
