VOCALS Tony Delicata

Tony has been surrounded by music all his life.

As a youngster, he could be found upsetting all of his neighbours playing his guitar till all hours or performing with some band or another all while also singing with the renowned St Mary’s Cathedral Choir in Edinburgh……but not at the same time!!

So how did he get from there to here? Good question!

Well, Tony was spellbound by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Dean Martin & Nat King Cole ever since his ‘Nonna’ in Italy sang the Italian classic ‘Volare’ to him as a night time lullaby.  So it would seem only natural for him to take the step of performing the songs from his favourite era but it has taken him nearly 35 years (during which time he had a successful catering and acting career - but that's another story!!!), for him to tread the boards and sing his Nonna's lullaby.

SAXOPHONE Kenny Thomson

Ken is based in Highland Perthshire and is a much sought after professional saxophone player with extensive experience in live performance, recording, tv, radio and international touring.

Ken performs regularly and has worked with many artists and bands in a variety of concert, media and festival settings such as Jools Holland, BBC House Band, T in The Park, V Festivals, The Scottish Saxophone Quartet, Live shows in Europe and New York, London West End Theatre.

Ken is also employed as a composer and arranger for multi media projects.

PIANO GORDON MURCH

Having taught music for many years in Perthshire, Gordon also enjoys performing in a wide range of styles, from classical to jazz and music theatre. A recent highlight was playing for Pitlochry Festival Theatre’s highly acclaimed production of ‘Singin in the Rain’. He particularly enjoys working with singers and is looking forward to exploring the standards repertoire and beyond with Tony. In his spare time, Gordon likes to get out on his bike …… though never venturing too far from the nearest cafes!

DRUMS PETE MURCH

Hailing from rural Perthshire, Pete grew up in a musical family and began playing drums on a Mickey Mouse drum kit, aged 4. After upgrading to a real set of drums in his teenage years, he began his studies with a scholarship place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to study Timpani & Percussion, where he was also awarded the prestigious Governor’s Recital Prize for his performances throughout his masters degree.

Pete now continues to perform in a variety of settings, including sessions with BBC TV & Radio, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, theatrical productions and performances with his own bands.

BASS TUDOR MORRIS

Tudor was born in North Wales and studied Guitar at Music College and composition at university before starting an excruciatingly long teaching career that included being Director of Music at the BRIT School. Moving from guitar to bass during a stint with the Bill Basie Big Band sometime during the last century, he still plays guitar and keyboard when allowed to. His proudest moments include production credits on a record that was number 2 in the world music charts, and playing all instruments and producing a single with Linda Lusardi that was once record of the week on Radio Plymouth.
