TAO is a dynamic contemporary jazz collective from Glasgow, Scotland, led by the drummer and bandleader, Roan Anderson who are about to release their first album. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant jazz scene in Glasgow and beyond, Tao crafts soulful and modern jazz compositions that weave together heartfelt melodies and infectious rhythms. With a lineup featuring Ewan Johnston on keys, Simon Herberholz on saxophone, and Chris Quinn on bass. Tao’s debut album will be released in September and has some special guests on the album including Matt Carmichael and James Mackay. TAO's music reflects personal experiences of self-discovery, loss, and cherished memories, promising to take audiences on an extraordinary journey of emotion and musical exploration.
