HOGMANAY 2022 PARTY (SOLD OUT)

Join us this Hogmanay, and celebrate whilst we bring in the bells for 2022. We have a brilliant night lined up, with local acts showcasing all our favourite music genres we have playing here.

R D WYNESS - R D is a Singer songwriter playing original dark acoustic tales of Folk, Country and Blues. His songs are full of hard edged finger picking and delicate melodies. He is also the president of the Aberdeen Folk Club.

MATTHEW KILNER BAND - Matthew Kilner is a Scottish tenor saxophonist, band leader and educator. Since graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in 2021 Matthew has performed as a bandleader and sideman in venues across the country. His quartet which features some of the best jazz musicians in the North East will be bringing a set of original compositions and jazz standards to the Blue Lamp stage. Featuring Neil Birse on Piano, Richard Glassby on drums and Pete Lowit on double bass.

FURTHER ON - FURTHER ON - Foot-tapping grooves and soulful vocals guaranteed from top North-East blues band Further On. With the twin lead guitars of Charlie Brutsatori and Ian Crawford, Richard Champions (keys), Keith Mcrae (bass) and Stuart McIntosh (drums) expect songs from blues greats like Otis Rush, T-Bone Walker and Robert Johnson and rock classics from the likes of cream and the Allman Brothers delivered in Further On's audience-pleasing style.
